21/07/2016 “Georgian Water and Power" reports to population of Tbilisi regarding the investment projects
At 13:00 today, July 21 "Georgian Water and Power" company held a press conference as part of the “Report to Tbilisi” project.
The press conference was dealing with the company's current investment projects and the construction of Saguramo new hydropower plant.
The press conference was opened by director of communication of GWP Ekaterine Beridze. Head of investment policy department Guram Akhvlediani and head of business development and investor relationship department Tina Simonishvili spoke at the press conference about the investment policy.
Presently GWP invests GEL 94.5 million in various important projects, including the rehabilitation of tunnels of main water supply artery of Zhinvali and Bodorna-Grmagele which has been completed already. Construction of two “green” hydro power stations of Saguramo HPP and Bodorna HPP is also planned. Saguramo HPP is at the completion stage and the construction of Bodorna HPP is scheduled in the near future.
GWP is about to start such an important project as rehabilitation of Gardabani treatment plant in accordance with up-to-date standards. In the long run each investment project is aimed at providing Tbilisi with stable and quality water supply.
Management of GWP will hold regular press conferences under the Report to Tbilisi project and broadcast them in livestream mode via the Company’s Facebook page.
