02/07/2010 Gigi Ugulava worked on water supply networks rehabilitation
Mayor of Tbilisi started his workday on the 1st of July with replacement of old corroded water pipe in #1 Jansugh Kakhidze street together with the brigade of GWP. Gigi Ugulave personally participated in the installation of closing valve which will allow the residents of #1 Kakhidze street to turn off the water supplied to their yards and high-rise buildings so that not to limit water supply to the whole neighborhood and adjacent streets.
As the mayor pointed out he finds it important to work with people of different professions and to share their experience and opinions.
Georgian Water and Power and Tbilisi City Hall are implementing joint project for replacing water supply inlet pipelines in the yards and high-rise buildings and install individual closing valves.
The Project is a part of the GWP program aimed at providing uninterrupted water supply of Tbilisi.
